Fish & Wildlife
We believe in the protection of lands that conserve wild animal populations and their habitat. Protecting and restoring our rivers and streams in the Chesapeake is one of our top goals, and it has direct benefits to our wildlife.
We are deeply concerned about the loss of habitat for fish and wildlife over the past several decades, especially as the pace of development has increased.
We have been active in the effort to conserve and restore habitat for disappearing pollinators like bees and monarch butterflies. We have also conserved vital lands for rare, threatened and endangered plants and animals in the region.
Our three wildlife webcams featuring peregrine falcon, great blue heron, and osprey, help to engage the next generation of conservation stewards.
