Shannon Thomas

Project Coordinator

After being placed with Chesapeake Conservancy as part of the yearlong Chesapeake Conservation Corps program, Shannon Thomas joined the team as a project coordinator. Thomas is assisting the Chesapeake Tributaries Initiative with rapid stream delisting and 30 by 30 initiatives. She especially enjoys workdays when she can get outside to collect live stakes or plant trees.

Thomas graduated from Washington College with a degree in environmental science and minors in Chesapeake regional studies and chemistry. She is a Pennsylvania native but loves spending weekends on the Chesapeake Bay.
