Rebeca Garcia

Bilingual Interpretive Outreach Assistant

Rebeca Garcia is a new resident of Maryland and a seasonal bilingual interpreter at Chesapeake Conservancy. She holds a bachelor’s of science in teaching and training. With a passion for educating young minds about the environment and encouraging community involvement, Rebeca is excited to be part of the Chesapeake Conservancy team. She looks forward to learning more about the Chesapeake Bay while collaborating with the staff at Masonville Cove.

Growing up in Kansas City, some of her fondest memories involve outdoor activities such as going to the lake, hiking and spending time with family. Rebeca hopes to enrich similar experiences for local Hispanic families, helping them enjoy their time at local parks by providing inclusivity to their experience. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, traveling, camping and hiking with family and friends.
