Elliott Kurtz
Geospatial Data Engineer
Elliott Kurtz serves as the Conservation Innovation Center’s geospatial data engineer where he develops geospatial data and tools to support conservation and restoration efforts across the Chesapeake Bay watershed. His focus is automating and scaling data processing workflows to identify and prioritize best management practices for water quality. Kurtz has a bachelor’s degree in marine science from Stony Brook University and a master’s degree in natural resources and environment from University of Michigan. Kurtz enjoys hiking, birding, cooking and playing clarinet.
