Cara Brennan
Susquehanna University Intern
Cara is a senior ecology and environmental studies double-major at Susquehanna University. On campus, she is a research assistant at the Freshwater Research Institute helping with fish, macroinvertebrate and sediment sampling, a member of Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity and president of Sigma Gamma Epsilon earth science honor society. She is also working on a senior research project looking for microplastics in freshwater and seabirds. She is from West Chester, PA, and developed a love of animals and conservation through her mother’s work at the Brandywine Zoo. Cara is excited to be interning with the Chesapeake Conservancy, work on a variety of local projects and take part in everything the internship has to offer.
