Ava is a sophomore earth and environmental science major at Susquehanna University. She is minoring in the Honors Program. On-campus, Ava is a laboratory assistant in Dr. Holt’s lab where she is presently serving as the head of the greenhouse. She is a member of Susquehanna’s Geology Club, Circle-K, Bee Club and the English Equestrian team. At home, Ava was a longtime Girl Scout and worked at Dan Schantz Greenhouse, fostering her love of the environment. Ava considers herself to have a green thumb and enjoys both indoor and outdoor gardening. Ava is very excited to be interning with the Chesapeake Conservancy; she is hoping to gain a variety of new skills, develop herself in the field and make lasting connections.
