Chesapeake Conservancy Welcomes Dr. Kandis Boyd to the Chesapeake Bay Program
Dr. Boyd’s previous leadership and role with the National Science Foundation will be vital to the Chesapeake Bay watershed restoration effort.
Annapolis, MD. – On June 2, 2022, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) appointed Dr. Kandis Boyd as the new Director of the Chesapeake Bay Program. Chesapeake Conservancy congratulates Dr. Boyd on her appointment and stands ready to support her leadership of the program.
Chesapeake Conservancy is a proud partner of the Chesapeake Bay Program and works closely with the Bay Program and other partners to provide data and tools that advance and accelerate progress toward achieving conservation and restoration goals.
“On behalf of Chesapeake Conservancy, I would like to extend our congratulations to Dr. Boyd for her recent appointment as the Director of the Chesapeake Bay Program,” said Chesapeake Conservancy President and CEO Joel Dunn.
