Michael Bowman is a native Marylander, who grew up in Southern Maryland along the beaches of the Chesapeake Bay which gave him a passion to learn and protect the environment. He is a graduate of Salisbury University with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and a minor in History. Following graduation, Michael began work at the Chesapeake Conservancy as a seasonal staffer for the Chesapeake Roving Ranger; where he traveled throughout the Chesapeake Bay educating the public on the importance of the Chesapeake Bay and providing interpretive lessons.
