Chesapeake Conservancy to Host Third Annual Welcome Back Osprey Party

Annapolis, MD – The Chesapeake Conservancy, whose popular osprey webcam featuring “Tom and Audrey” has attracted attention worldwide, will host a “Welcome Back Osprey Party” for members of the organization’s Osprey Club.  Members of the public who would like to attend, but are not currently members of the Osprey Club, may do so by joining the Osprey Club with a fully tax-deductible donation of $100.

The party will take place at Pusser’s Caribbean Grille in Annapolis, on April 19, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Speakers at the event will include authors Teena Ruark Gorrow and Craig Koppie, U.S. Fish and Wildlife raptor biologist. Koppie and Gorrow will discuss their latest collaboration on the osprey nest featured on the Conservancy’s osprey cam. The book will be released by Schiffer Publishing later this year.

Members of the public are invited to view the webcam and read the “Crazy Osprey Family” blog at www.chesapeakeconservancy.org
