Senator Barbara Mikulski met with Maryland National Guard leadership at the 5th Regiment Armory, Baltimore, Md., on April 23, 2014. Mikulski backs the formation of a national commission on future Army Force Structure. The senator toured the Maryland National Guard headquarters, and met with Maj. Gen. James Adkins, the adjutant general of Maryland; Brig. Gen. Allyson Solomon, assistant adjutant general – Air; and Brig. Gen.
